Dorchester Native Bill O’Brien Is Named As New Penn State Coach
Following the fallout of the Penn State scandal, Penn State recently named Dorchester Native Bill O’Brien as their head coach. O’Brien currently holds the position of offensive Coordinator for the New England patriots and will be leaving at the end of the Patriots post season run to begin his new role as the full time head coach of Nittany Lions. O’Brien was introduced in the ballroom of Penn State’s Nittany Lion Inn in front of a crowd of about 200, including media, school personnel, and others.
